Sally (left) “ I started working for Wards in 2015, initially at the Chesterfield branch, but now I’m part of the team at the Bakewell store. I’m really all about comfort, especially because I'm on my feet all day and enjoy walking. I love Josef Seibel boots for their soft leathers, great colours and original styles and comfort. I can wear them all day. Many have removable insoles so I can pop in some new ones if I need additional arch support. Fly London have some great colours and styles and are also very comfortable. Gabor have beautifully soft leathers, and some have extra cushioned footbeds - I have some of their sandals which are great for long walks in the summer.”
Sally (right) ”I have worked at Wards Shoe Shop in Bakewell since 2017 and I love everything about it….the ladies I work with are amazing and they’re not just my work colleagues but they are my friends. I also really enjoy helping our customers who come from far and wide to visit us to find comfortable, amazing quality footwear… and because we sell so many wonderful brands, we usually have something for every shape and size of foot. I also feel because we are a family owned, independent business we pride ourselves on giving exceptional personal service. With regards to my favourite brand - this is a very tough one to answer as I have so many favourites (you just need to look in my wardrobe!) but I think I would say Gabor because of the amazing comfort, quality and great designs. I feel they’re classic and timeless and never seem to go out of fashion.”
